Girls Day

Ahhhh Babeland. This adventure took place last Sunday...'Girls Day' Allow me to give you a brief rundown on the day's activities: 

1. Brunch and Bloodys at Virage

2. We then continued onward. Spent a solid hour in Babeland getting a rundown on all of the features and latest models of, well...you know. We found ourselves shopping and discussing product with a lovely Lesbian couple. After much debate and thought, we each settled and made our way off to manicures with our bags in tow. This is where it gets interesting.

3. On our hike uptown to our manis, we literally run into a fellow bro. Said bro went for a mid-afternoon jog...in jeans. Really, bro?! You just happened to be running by us sporting our bright pink BABELAND bags? He said he was "sweating out all the booze from the night before". In jeans and vineyard vines? You sure?? He might as well have been wearing a sweater vest and boat shoes. Awkward Dry Spell fumbles this encounter...hard. MLIA

4. Manicures were terribly uneventful.

5. Standard late night movie at Kipps Bay paired with an overdose of liquid butter on the popcorn. Epic fail for the arteries. Plot: Ashton and Natalie bone excessively. But hey, a wise man once said, "it isn't a good weekend without a trip to the gyno". 

6. A little late night perusing of the usual sites: plentyoffish, okcupid, match, and craigslist casual encounters...of course 

Ugh. The trials and tribulations of the NY un-chic.
